Day 2: Resupplying at headquarters

On December 24th, the Explorers Hotel becomes the festive hideout for adventurous families. After an emotional day in the parks, the crew gathers for the grand Christmas Eve Buffet. Offered in two services by reservation (at 6:00 PM or 9:00 PM), this feast is the perfect “resupply” to rebuild your strength at La Plantation!

The buffet is a true culinary expedition. Among the many choices on the buffet, you will find a seafood station (langoustines, oysters, sea urchins, whelks…), refined appetizers like semi-cooked foie gras with Espelette pepper or cream of cauliflower with chestnuts. For main courses, tradition is honored with (among others) turkey stuffed with chestnuts, a tournedos of honey-lacquered duck, or a seared sea bream fillet. A dedicated buffet awaits the young sailors, before an avalanche of desserts including Christmas Yule logs, pastries, and various treats.

The atmosphere is just as magical! The evening will be set to the rhythm of a live music group. Children can participate in a creative workshop, and the whole family can capture the moment at the photobooth. The most anticipated moment will, of course, be the special visit from Santa Claus, who will come to greet the explorers with gifts for the children! It is this unique atmosphere that makes the Explorers the most lively hotel for Christmas near Disneyland Paris.

This complete Christmas Eve package is available by reservation for €99 per adult (including champagne, wines, and soft drinks) and €39 per child from 3 to 11 years old (soft drinks included).

Day 3: Discovering the Lost Lagoon

To conclude this Christmas expedition in style, head for the hotel’s hidden treasure: the water park. While the young sailors tackle the slides, the crew captains recharge on the shores of the lagoon.

The expedition continues: headed for the New Year!

For explorers extending the adventure, the party doesn’t stop after Christmas! On December 31st, the crew is once again invited to “La Plantation” restaurant for the New Year’s Eve Buffet, served continuously from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

On the menu, you will find (among other things) refined appetizers like the semi-cooked duck foie gras with Espelette pepper, a seafood pastilla, or a mini burratina with pesto tomatoes and pine nuts. The seafood station (oysters, shrimp, stuffed salmon…) is still at its post, near the main courses like the roasted yellow chicken stuffed with forest mushrooms, the sirloin carving station with its five-berry sauce, or the scorpionfish fillet. A children’s buffet (hot dogs, fries, crispy chicken…) is planned for the young sailors, before a parade of desserts for the whole family, including apple and pear almond crumble, chocolate lava cake with salted butter caramel, and cheeses from our regions.

But the real pirate party begins after dinner! The adventure continues at the Atoll for the big dance party, which will be in full swing from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Every buffet participant will be offered a glass of Prosecco (or a soft drink) to celebrate the new year!
